It is generally expected that the COVID-19 pandemic will have a severe negative effect on the economy, especially also for the trade, travel and transport sectors. To monitor these effects, it is necessary to have timely and high-frequency indicators.

In this project, we aim to:

  • Bring together relevant indicators that are currently already being compiled for all countries at global level;
  • Scale compilation of indicators, which are relevant but are only being compiled by certain countries, to many more countries;
  • Develop new indicators;
  • Display these indicators in useful (dashboard) format, which can be pulled /linked by anyone.
